Cuttack: Former Odisha Ranji Trophy cricketer Subhasis Bhuyan passed away on February 5 in Bhubaneswar, aged 56, after battling prolonged illness.

Bhuyan had also served Odisha cricket in his role as a member of the senior selection committee. He is survived by a son.

Pranab Prakash Das, president of Odisha Cricket Association, along with Sanjay Behera, secretary, and all other office bearers and members extended their condolences to his family.
