Bhubaneswar: A meeting with regional heads of various banks was held at State Urban Development Agency (SUDA) conference hall here on Sunday to provide livelihood opportunity to urban street vendors through financial inclusion.
The meeting was chaired by Sarada Prasad Panda, director SUDA and also joint secretary to Odisha government.
Goutam Patra, GM and convener SLBC, AO, SUDA, deputy commissioner BMC, SMMU, SUDA along with around 40 regional heads from different banks were part of the meeting.
There was a detailed discussion on how to speed up socio-economic profiling across targeted ULBs for inclusion of street vendors under various social welfare programmes of the government.
Also, around 32,000 pending cases of PM SVA Nidhi loans were discussed and to clear the same at the earliest.
