‘Excellence in Education’ award for SOA

Bhubaneswar: Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan (SOA) Deemed to be University has been conferred with the ‘Excellence in Education’ award at the HR India national conference organised in New Delhi on Saturday.

Pritam Nayak, officer-on-special duty to the SOA founder president, received the award on behalf of the university.

The certificate presented to SOA said the award was being presented to the university for its outstanding achievements in promoting academic excellence and innovation in higher education.

The event, sponsored by Indian Oil Corporation Ltd, discussed several subjects including ‘Heart Centric Organisation and Mind Centric Performance’, ‘Role of HR in the age of AI/Digitalization’, ‘Happyfication’, ‘Compassionate Leadership: A Myth or Reality’, ‘Leadership Lessons from Mahabharat’ and ‘Understanding Spiritual Intelligence’.

The event, which was attended by around 200 persons including HR leaders, was held at the New Delhi Institute of Management (NDIM).

Sudhansu Mani, designer of the Vande Bharat Express train, Swami Chidrupananda of Chinmay Mission, Pradeep Mohanty, well-known industrialist and Dr Sunita Pachar, social worker, were presented the Heart Centric awards. Dr. Aquil Busrai, CEO, Aquil Busrai Consulting, received the Iconic HR Leader and Mentor award.
Ranjan Mohapatra, former HR Director, Indian Oil Corporation Ltd, VM Bansal, chairman of NDIM, Samar Mohapatra, president of HR India Forum and advisor, Global HR Forum, Puspa Sahoo, Art and Craft expert and VP Singh, spiritual teacher, were among the speakers.
