Railway Board member (Infrastructure) Roop Narayan Sunkar on Monday reviewed the infrastructural performance of East Coast Railway (ECoR).
To improve both the freight traffic and passenger traffic movement, Sunkar stressed upon joint cooperation and mutual understanding between various agencies of the Central and State governments and with stakeholders such as industries, ports and corporate agencies.
He also reviewed the ongoing works for redevelopment of Puri and Cuttack stations and advised officials for speedy completion of the projects especially passenger centric amenities.
ECoR general manager Manoj Sharma, additional general manager Sharad Kumar Srivastava and other principal heads were present in the review meeting.
