ECoR restores six pairs of trains
During the recent visit to Odisha, Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw decided to restore four pairs of trains in East Coast Railway jurisdiction.
Keeping in view the above, East Coast Railway has restored six pairs of trains in its jurisdiction. The trains are: Puri-Sai Nagar Shirdi-Puri Express, Puri-Paradeep-Puri Express, Cuttack-Bhadrak-Cuttack MEMU Special, Visakhapatnam-Koraput-Visakhapatnam Intercity, Visakhapatnam-Brahmapur-Visakhapatnam Express, Palasa-Cuttack-Palasa Passenger Special and Puri-Talcher-Puri MEMU Special.
18414/18413 Puri-Paradeep-Puri Express will resume its service from 27 June. This train from Puri will leave at 0615hrs and from Paradeep at 1800hrs.
08438/08437 Cuttack-Bhadrak-Cuttack Special will resume from 27 June. This train from Cuttack will leave at 1155hrs and from Bhadrak at 1530hrs.
18512/18511 Visakhapatnam-Koraput-Visakhapatnam Inter City Express from Visakhapatnam will leave at 1350hrs on every Monday and Friday from 1 July. This train from Koraput will leave at 0525hrs on every Tuesday and Saturdays from 2 July, 2022.
18526/18525 Visakhapatnam-Brahmapur-Visakhapatnam Express from Visakhapatnam will leave at 1500hrs daily from 14 July. This train from Brahmapur will leave at 0945hrs from 15 July.
08534/08533 Palasa-Cuttack-Palasa Passenger Special from Palasa will leave at 0415hrs from 15 July. This train from Cuttack will leave at 1615hrs from 16 July.
08414/08413 Puri-Talcher-Puri Special from Puri will leave at 1700hrs from 12 July. This train from Talcher will leave at 0545hrs from 13 July.
20857/20858 Puri-Sai Nagar Shirdi-Puri Express will leave Puri at 2305hrs on every Friday from 15 July. This train from Sai Nagar Shirdi will leave at 1410hrs on every Sunday from 17 July.
Meanwhile, East Coast Railway has now achieved 100 per cent compliance of linen service on its originating trains. This facility in all the 63 trains originating from East Coast Railway jurisdiction has been resumed. Linen services in trains were withdrawn during the Covid period.
