Delhi shivers at 8.7 deg C as winter chill persists

New Delhi: The national capital experienced a chilly morning on Saturday with a minimum temperature of 8.7 degree Celsius, three notches below the seasonal average, as reported by the India Meteorological Department. While the humidity level in the city was high at 92 per cent.

The met department forecasts partly cloudy skies throughout the day. Meanwhile, the Air Quality Index (AQI) for the national capital stood at 166, categorised as “moderate,” according to the Central Pollution Control Board.

An AQI in the range of 101 to 200 falls under the “moderate” category, indicating acceptable air quality conditions.
