Chhattisgarh beat Odisha in second T20 warm-up match

Odisha also lost their second T20 warm-up game against Chhattisgarh by 31 runs, being played at Raipur Stadium on Friday.

The senior men’s team is playing preparatory matches against Chhattisgarh as part of their campaign for the upcoming Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.

Opting to bat first, Chhattisgarh scored 162 for 5 in 20 overs, with Akhil Herwadkar scoring an unbeaten 68 while for Odisha Govinda Poddar picked three wickets.

Coming out for the run-chase, Odisha could manage to reach 132 for 8 in 20 over, falling short of the target by 31 runs. For Odisha, Sarbeswar Mohanty scored with 27 and Anshuman Rath made 25.

The third match of the warm-up series between both the teams is on Saturday.
