Chhattisgarh beat Odisha in fifth T20, sweep warm-up series

Chhattisgarh made clean sweep of the five-match T20 warm-up series, beating Odisha by 34 runs in the fifth and final match at Raipur Stadium on Tuesday.

The senior men’s team is playing preparatory matches against Chhattisgarh as part of their campaign for the upcoming Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.

Opting to bat, Chhattisgarh made 171 for 3 in 20 overs with Shashank Chandrakar scoring 47 and Amandeep Khare 45. For Odisha, Bikash Rout and Jayanta Behera chipped in with a wicket each.

Odisha could manage to reach 137 for 7 in 20 overs, with Govinda Poddar top-scoring for the team with an unbeaten 43 while Rajesh Dhuper scored 25.
