Birla Fertility & IVF acquires ARMC IVF Fertility chain, aims to expand presence to 100 clinics

New Delhi: Birla Fertility & IVF, a leading IVF network in India and part of the CK Birla Group, has announced its acquisition of ARMC IVF Fertility Centre, signaling its entry into South India. The move comes as part of Birla Fertility & IVF’s ambitious plan to expand its footprint to 100 clinics, backed by an investment exceeding Rs 500 crore.

Currently operating 30 centres, this acquisition will enable Birla Fertility & IVF to extend its reach across Kerala, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu, bolstering its total number of centres to 37 nationwide.

The acquisition underscores Birla Fertility & IVF’s commitment to meeting the growing demand for reliable and proficient fertility services across the country. Leveraging its legacy of over 50 years in delivering high-quality healthcare, the CK Birla Group aims to establish itself as a leading partner in the field of fertility care.

Commenting on the strategic move, Avanti Birla, founder of Birla Fertility & IVF, emphasised the brand’s holistic approach to fertility health and treatment. She highlighted the partnership’s commitment to upholding the highest level of fertility care established by ARMC IVF and its founder, Dr KU Kunjimoideen.

Akshat Seth, vice-chairman of CK Birla Healthcare, expressed the company’s vision of becoming the world’s most clinically reliable institution in reproductive medicine. He emphasised the importance of raising awareness and providing reliable fertility treatments, particularly in the South, where ARMC IVF has built a strong reputation.

Abhishek Aggarwal, chief business officer of Birla Fertility & IVF, emphasised the company’s focus on delivering premium reproductive care and advanced fertility treatments adhering to international standards. He highlighted the comprehensive range of services offered, including gynecological procedures, male fertility procedures, genetic screening, diagnostics and donor services.

Following the acquisition, Dr KU Kunjimoideen and the existing team will continue to oversee operations at these centres, ensuring continuity of care for patients.

The acquisition comes at a time when India is witnessing a growing demand for fertility treatments, with over 28 million couples facing fertility-related challenges. Birla Fertility & IVF aims to contribute to addressing this need by providing best-in-class treatment and enhancing accessibility to fertility care nationwide.
