Bhubaneswar girl wins virtual extempore speech contest

Six-year-old Sudhanya Panigrahi, an UKG student of Loyola School, Bhubaneswar won the extempore speaking competition on November 2, organised by Train Me Academy (TMA).

The event was judged by Gunjan Ashish Goel (educator) as guest of honour and Suchana Pattnaik (media professional and entrepreneur) as assessor. The event was presided over by Anjali Dutta (HR expert, international corporate trainer, celebrity coach and motivational speaker), who is also the founder and director of the Train Me Academy.

Seven-year-old Dhyan Saran from Kochi was first runner-up while five-year-old Amogh Saxena from UP was adjudged second runner-up. There were participants from other countries including Singapore, Japan and USA – who were judged at different time zones.

The idea of the competition was to provide a platform to young children to build their confidence in public speaking and overall personality development.

The students were mentored by Juhi G Gupta, an experienced corporate trainer and senior consultant, HR, Train Me Academy along with Anjali Dutta.

Train Me Academy is an online education/training centre based out of Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh, with digital-virtual existence nationally and globally in ASEAN countries, such as Singapore and Japan. Moreover, it is engaged in providing training solutions to individuals, educational institutions and corporates. Since 2010, Train Me Academy has basically engaged in developing competencies of individuals in language skills with special reference to English and public speaking and soft skills.

In addition, summer camps and winter personality development programmes, theatre based personality development with acting skills have been designed to build the overall development of children in all age groups, especially in areas of public speaking, overcoming stage fear, confidence building and presentation skills.
