Bengaluru Tech Summit 2025 wraps up, deep-tech start-ups receive Rs 400-crore funding boost

Bengaluru: The three-day Bengaluru Tech Summit (BTS) 2025 concluded on Thursday, recording strong participation from global delegates and significant funding support for India’s deep-tech ecosystem.

Organisers said government agencies and venture capital firms collectively extended Rs 400 crore in funding commitments to emerging deep-tech start-ups during the Future Makers Conclave, the summit’s flagship platform for innovation and investment.

This year’s edition saw participation from 20,680 delegates representing 57 countries, highlighting Bengaluru’s growing prominence as a global technology hub. In addition, the event drew 46,389 business visitors, taking the total footfall to nearly 92,500 attendees.

The summit featured a packed agenda with 630 speakers contributing to discussions across 100 live sessions on AI, deep tech, biotechnology, aerospace, start-ups and other high-growth sectors.

A diverse range of 1,015 exhibitors showcased cutting-edge products, solutions and research, offering a comprehensive view of India’s rapidly evolving tech landscape.

The organisers added that the summit facilitated 146 curated cross-pitches between start-ups and 36 investors, with another 162 pitches scheduled for next week under the BTS banner. A total of 107 mentor–mentee sessions were also held, providing guidance and strategic support to emerging entrepreneurs.
