BENGALURU: Bangalore University (BU) has postponed its second-semester MBA examination, originally scheduled for Friday, December 27, following the Karnataka state government’s declaration of a public holiday.
The state government announced the holiday as a mark of respect following the demise of former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh on Thursday night.
BU announced the decision early Friday morning, confirming the postponement through an official notice issued by Srinivas C, Registrar (Evaluation). The notice stated:
“Due to the demise of former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh, the state govt has declared a holiday today. In this regard, the MBA (2nd semester) examination scheduled to be held today (27-12-2024) at Bangalore University has been canceled and postponed. The revised examination date will be announced soon.”
Students have been advised to stay updated with official announcements for the new exam date. The university is expected to provide revised schedules shortly.
