Andhra Pradesh minister invites Dubai investors to Visakhapatnam Partnership Summit

Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh municipal administration and urban development minister Dr P Narayana is in Dubai to attract global investors and highlight the state’s pro-business environment under its “Speed of Doing Business” initiative.

As part of his visit, the minister urged Dubai-based industrialists to participate in the upcoming CII Partnership Summit to be held in Visakhapatnam on November 14-15, showcasing Andhra Pradesh’s fast-track approval systems and investor-friendly ecosystem.

On the first day of his Dubai tour, Dr Narayana met BG Krishnan and Selina Sashikant from the Indian Consulate to discuss the state’s development roadmap and potential investment sectors. He later interacted with Vikram Datta, senior vice-president of the Shobha Group, who showed interest in infrastructure ventures in Andhra Pradesh.

During a meeting with Indian Consul General Satish Sivan, Dr Narayana explained the Single Desk Policy that facilitates quick industrial clearances and sought support in promoting Andhra Pradesh’s investment potential among Dubai-based businesses.

The minister also met Faizal Kottikollon, chairman of KEF Holdings, encouraging the company to explore opportunities in the healthcare and technology sectors.

Dr Narayana was accompanied by APCRDA commissioner Kannababu, municipal administration director Sampath Kumar, retired IAS officer Srinivas, and other senior officials during the visit.
