AMNS India receives two prestigious awards at CII Odisha annual meeting

Bhubaneswar: ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India (AMNS India), a joint venture between ArcelorMittal and Nippon Steel, has been honoured with two awards, the Quality Circle Award and the HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) Excellence Award, at the Odisha Annual Meeting 2024 organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).

Presented by Bhupendra Singh, special secretary, Industries, Govt of Odisha, these awards recognise AMNS India’s commitment to excellence in quality, safety and sustainability. Out of over 70 participating companies, AMNS India stood out because of its exemplary practices.

The Quality Circle Award underscores AMNS India’s dedication to quality enhancement and innovation. Through robust quality management systems and employee participation in quality initiatives, the company fosters a culture of continuous improvement.

Similarly, the HSE Excellence Award acknowledges AMNS India’s unwavering focus on health, safety and environmental measures. By prioritising employee training and implementing rigorous safety protocols, the company ensures these values are deeply ingrained in its operations.
