The plant was inaugurated on May 16, 2024, by Suresha G, executive director of Operations at AM/NS India. The event was attended by Dr Vikas Yadvendu, head of CSR at AMNS India, Anam Swain, village president, Laxmipriya Mohanty, Naib-Sarpanch, and other local leaders.

“Under Project Trupti, we are proud to set up this community water purification plant. It will provide a convenient, affordable, and self-sustaining source of safe drinking water for our community. We plan to install another plant in Musadia village shortly,” Suresha G said.
