Alipsa Biswal to lead Odisha in Women’s U23 T20 Trophy
Cuttack: The Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) on Wednesday announced a 16-member Odisha Under 23 women’s squad for the first three matches of the Women’s U23 T20 Trophy for the 2025-26 BCCI domestic season. The squad was unveiled during a press meet held on November 19 by Odisha women’s selection committee chairperson Sasmita Pattnaik, along with head coach Swagatika Rath.
Allrounder Alipsa Biswal has been named captain, while Tanmayae Behera will serve as vice captain. The squad includes two wicketkeepers, Dibya Routray and Tannwi Ranjana and features a mix of promising young talents such as Suchismita Panda, Ankita Giri, Subhra N. Swain, Ananya Mishra and GM Alakananda.

Odisha will begin their campaign on November 24 against Sikkim at the KCA Cricket Ground in Mangalapuram, Trivandrum. The team will then take on Uttarakhand on November 25, followed by a clash against Haryana on November 27. The remaining matches of their group stage include fixtures against Baroda on November 29 and Mumbai on December 1.
