AITA doubles tennis title for Odisha’s Kabir Hans

Odisha’s top tennis player Kabir Hans won the doubles title at the AITA one-lakh men’s tournament in Bengaluru. He also reached the singles semifinals before losing to Olympian J Vishnuvardhan.

Six Odisha hockey players

Six hockey players from Odisha have been named in the 30-member core probable group for the senior men’s national coaching camp to begin at SAI centre in Bengaluru, from October 4.

The players are: Amit Rohidas, Dipsan Tirkey, Shilanand Lakra, Nilam S. Xess, Ashis Topno and Suman Beck.

FAO Inter Club Futsal Championship

Mangala Club of Cuttack emerged champions of the FAO Inter Club Futsal Championship while Rising Student Club, also from Cuttack were the runners-up.

The Annual General Meetings (AGM) of different State Association will be held at Odisha Cricket Association Conference Hall on 3 October, 2021 as per schedule mentioned below.

  2. Odisha Athletics Association, 12:30 PM
  3. Football Association of Odisha, 1:00 PM
  4. Odisha Volleyball Association, 3:00 PM
  5. Odisha Amateur Boxing Association, 4:00 PM
