Additional stoppages for Samaleswari and Puri-Durg Express trains

In a move to enhance connectivity and convenience, East Coast Railway has decided to introduce experimental stoppages for two trains. The Howrah-Jagadalpur Samaleswari Express (18005/18006) and the Puri-Durg Express (18425/18426) will now make additional halts at specific stations, providing passengers with increased accessibility.

Howrah-Jagadalpur Samaleswari Express:

Effective from 28.02.2024 for Howrah to Jagadalpur route and from 29.02.2024 for the reverse journey, the Samaleswari Express will now include a stoppage at Rengali Station. Passengers travelling from Howrah can expect the train’s arrival at Rengali at 0836 hrs and departure at 0838 hrs towards Jagadalpur. Those boarding from Jagadalpur will witness a brief stop at Rengali at 1855 hrs, departing at 1857 hrs towards Howrah.

Puri-Durg Express:

Commencing from March 1, 2024 for the Puri to Durg route and from March 2, 2024 for the reverse journey, the Puri-Durg Express (18425/18426) will now halt at Loisinga and Muribahal stations. Passengers on this route can expect the train to arrive at Loisinga at 0358 hrs and depart at 0400 hrs. Similarly, the train will arrive at Muribahal at 0612 hrs, heading towards Durg. On the return journey, the Durg-Puri Express will stop at Muribahal at 2025 hrs, departing at 2027 hrs, and at Loisinga at 2225 hrs, departing at 2227 hrs towards Puri.

It’s important to note that the timing and stoppages at other nominated stations for these trains will remain unchanged.
