1100 athletes participate in CDAA’s annual athletic meet

PB Athletic Coaching Center, Cuttack receiving the Overall Championship trophy.

The Annual Athletic Meet of Cuttack District Athletic Association (CDAA) held from April 2 to April 3 at Satybrata Stadium here saw 1100 athletes from Cuttack district taking part in the two-day event.

The Cuttack district team will be selected for the 68th State Athletic Championship, which will be held at KIIT Stadium in Bhubaneswar from April 8 to April 11.

PB Athletic Coaching Center, Cuttack received the Overall Championship trophy for the 8th time in a row.

Pankaj Lochan Mohanty, president Odisha Cricket Association was the chief guest of the closing function and also gave away the prizes to the winners. Asirbad Behera, hony. general secretary presided over the closing function and Avijit Paul, hony. general secretary Odisha Olympic Association was the guest of honour. Other guests included, Bhakta Ballav Das, working president, Ramesh Chandra Mallik, Sahadeb Rout, Bijay Das, Dillip Sahu, vice-president of CDAA and Naba Kishore Mishra, joint secretary along with other guests were present during the function.
